In the matters of art mimics [natural] life, I stumbled upon this designers’ website thanks to my west elm friends.  Her name is Maria Moyer, originally from Southern California, and she has an inspired way of looking at the microscopic sea-life of plankton, recreating it (and re-sizing it) for human contemplation and my own amusement! Want one of Maria Moyer’s beautifulous pieces?  Well, the nature-lovers of west elm have them and I can’t wait to get myself a vase! Don’t you just wanna feel how plankton-inspired art feels under your fingers??? Thank you west elm for introducing me to Maria, another woman who speaks the language of art through science…
